Please note: The "ELP Standards" or English Language Proficiency Standards are not the standards that we use on our lesson plans. They can be helpful in differentiating the types of language and tasks that might be appropriate for ELLs at different proficiency levels, but they serve as benchmarks toward the ELA (English Language Arts) standard. We use Functions as the ESOL Goal (long-term target), and Forms as the ESOL Objective (lesson-specific).
